An Eclat was a new and upcoming brand, which is actually the most interesting place to shoot. There's no heavy brief, no committee. Just a vision of what they're building, something rooted in quality, in restraint, in that old money sensibility that doesn't announce itself. My job was to translate that into images before they even had the words for it.
We kept everything close. Natural light from the window, wood panelling doing the heavy lifting, a green carpet that grounded the whole thing. The subject moved through the space like he already owned it, which is exactly the feeling the brand is chasing.
